Question
If I plead Nolo Contendere to a speeding ticket I received in VA, does the court send this onto the Department of Motor Vehicles as a moving violation? If so, will points be assigned to my driving record the same as if I pleaded or was found guilty?

If you are allowed to plead no contest, the moving violation stands. The judge may issue points just the same.
