Officer didn't sign my ticketWhat is the name of your state? Idaho Hi, I just got my first ticket while going down US95. I was doing 64mph, according to the ticket, in a 45. The speed limit had just changed from 65 to 45 and I was begining to slow down when I saw a cop. I told him that I thought the speed limit was 65 mph, and he informed me that I just passed two big signs that said 45. I got through all of that and he gave me a ticket. When I got home I noticed that the color of my pickup was wrong on the ticket (the ticket says white, but my pickup is grey) and also the cop never signed the ticket. I know the color thing doesn't really matter, but does anything else? Thanks, Ryan |

__________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution). Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |

1. The speed limit in the area. 2. Your vehicle was exceeding that limit, and how that was determined. 3. You were the one driving and how you were identified. The most common defenses center around #2, creating doubt as to the radar/laser/whatever being accurate. As an alternative, most courts will make offers to reduce at the initial appearance. That would allow you to plead to a lesser offense, keeping a decent driving record so your insurance doesn't go up. |
