| | | officer had headlights off I was caught speeding (48 in a 35) at dusk on a cloudy day in Ohio. The officer did not have his headlights or parking lights on, but I did. Is this considered entrapment in Ohio? Also, my speedometer is not accurate since I just replaced my transmission, so I really didn't know how fast I was going. I was using the car beside me (who was travelling at the same speed) for reference. Do either of these situitations give me any chance in court? Thanks in advance for any advice. |

| | | You do not present any evidence to have your citation dismissed. Would the officer having his headlights on made any difference. Probably not. You are also responsible for the mechanical condition of your vehicle. If something is not right, you have to fix the problem. It is one of the lamest excuses heard in traffic court. | |
