What is the name of your state? pa

Is there a statute of limitations of some sort on old citations? I was in a bad place back in 2002 and got cited for driving without a license. I blew the ticket off and never paid it. There were a few parking tickets as well. Now I'm finally getting things together and am thinking of getting a car and everything but I don't want to be pulled over and find out I have a warrant for that ticket. Is this something I could handle myself by just mailing in the money or would I have to get a lawyer to clear this up? I clearly don't have the funds but I do want to get this out of the way.
