Hello,

I am a licensed driver in Ontario, reside in Toronto, and I was stopped for speeding 89mph in a 65mph zone on I-90W in Pembroke county, New York (between Buffalo and Rochester) on Tuesday, Aug 12th at 1:30am.
The roads were completely empty and there was another vehicle driving with me (I was the leading driver). Both of us got pulled over at the same time by the officer.
I have a clean record since 4 years.
What would be my options? Get a legal representation to appear at court on my behalf?
I have no excuse for speeding, it was wrong of me to do so, and I would appreciate some advice.

Thank you!

Thanks for the reply. If I shouldn't expect much co-op from the prosecution, is it really worth spending the money for a lawyer?
Any lawyer recommendations?
