Question

oops, i forgot

i am in Rhode Island and i for got to pay the speeding ticket and missed the court date. how much trouble am i in?

Call the courthouse and find out. If you're lucky you'll have to pay the ticket and court costs only. Probably have to appear in court.

Well there is probably a bench warrant for your arrest right now. You must call the courthouse and tell them what happened. They should allow you to post bond and give you a new courtdate.
