Oregon- Curry Speeding Ticket, California Resident

I received a ORS 811.111 citation, cited for going 50+ in a 30. The stretch of 101 freeway went from 55 to 30 between the town.

Doing research on online, many have report it being a speedtrap.

I have utmost respect for law enforcement but this is just a plain case of revenue generation. Anyhow, I was wondering what my options are as I am a resident of California.

I tried tixnix.com but they do not have lawyers in that area.

That's because none paid to be listed. Call the bar association or legal aid society in the county you were cited in and ask for referals.

The fact that the city is making money on the tickets will not be regarded as an affirmative defense.

Which part of 820.180 are you alleging they have violated?
