| Indiana requires that an out-of-state vehicle be registered within 60 days of in-state residency. Registration is required before Inidana plates will be issued. Source: http://www.ai.org/bmv/platesandtitles/regfaq.html This can be enforced by your local PD.
__________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution). Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |

| Why do you care? When the guy's plates expire, he'll probably change over. Lighten up. |

| Hey quackdack or whatever, why should he lighten up? Why should the residents of Indiana pay the taxes for a lazy butt that does not want to follow the law. My state has a reward system in place for those that turn in violators, Freeride should call the cops and turn him in. And if the lazy butt is worried about losing his Florida registration fee, he is in luck. All 50 states have provisions in place for the refunding of licensing fees if the vehicle is registered in another state. Just send the original registration and a copy of the new state registration to the Florida state DMV and he gets a refund. |

| Let's see, the residents of Indiana are paying his taxes for him? How do you figure that? All that's happening is he's not paying the taxes for the few months that it will take for his plates to expire. I'm sure there's enough pork in the Indiana budget that they can live without the tax for a few months without pulling any real services. Besides, I'm sure there are former Indiana residents doing the same thing in other states. The fact that your state government offers rewards for people to rat out their neighbors doesn't make it right, or even reasonable, just greedy. |
