out of state speeding ticket

What is the name of your state? FL

I received a speeding ticket in Georgia, but live in Florida. Will the points transfer to my Florida license?

Yep. Google "States Drivers License Compact" and/or "Non Resident Violators Compact".

Depends on the ticket, which you failed to give us any details. Any speeding ticket that transfers will cost you four points so it would be worth your while to retain a Georgia attorney to negotiate a reduction or return for court.

It will transfer and show on your Florida license. An attorney might be able negotiate it down to where it will not be reported. Probably a 60-40 chance so I would lawyer up rather than take the chance on the insurance increase.
