Question

Parked with no lights

Texas. While coming home at 8:00 at night. I was stopped for speeding. 50 in a 30 zone. The police officer was sitting in his car off the side of the road with all his lights off. Is this a form of police entrapment or is it okay for them to be pulled off the side off the road with their lights off?

My response:

Yes, it's entrapment. So, when do you go to court? When you do, tell us so that we can go and sit in the peanut gallery. We want to hear you plead, "Not guilty because I was entrapped." Then, we'll all get a good, knee-slapping laugh while the judge shakes his head, and gives you your choice of $300.00 fine, or 30 hours of Community Service.

I rather pay the $300.00 fine, and be over with it. Thanks.
