I know it's a serious offense to pass a school bus when it is stopped and the lights are flashing red. I have also read that when the lights are flashing yellow, you should be prepared to stop. I received a ticket while driving down the street and passed a school bus still moving with its yellow lights flashing in the opposite direction. I was pulled over and given a ticket and was told this is against the law and cannot find anything (and I've looked) that holds this to be true. Is it?
