What is the name of your state?Ohio

i receieved a 4 point speeding ticket in michigan on 8/1/05 (it was my first ticket) and was wondering whether ohio law would take rule or michigan would. I was also wondering whether the michigan points would transfer onto my ohio lisence.

I am assuming you live in Ohio and have an Ohio license and got a ticket in Michigan.

Michigan will send the conviction to Ohio and it will be slapped onto your Ohio license under Ohio law and you will get Ohio points for it.

Ohio only charges two popints for any 1st time traffic violation. if the points are changed over would i only get the 2 points instead of 4
