Unhappy

prohibited left turn

What is the name of your state?NY
I was driving my car in Manhattan on Saturday April9 and turned left from 34 str to 6ave.I saw the sigh but was pretty sure that the day was Sunday,so really that was my mistake. The sigh said-no left turntill 7pm except Sunday.I was pulled over right away.At first i gave them previous year registration and police officer didnt give me time to find the right one and issued two tickets.
Recently i got the letter that said that my hearing is moved from July15 to OCT15 when i will be out of the country.
I am pretty sure i can fight for unregistered vehicle as i had my registation with me,but can i do something about left turn, can there be any excuses fot that. I have clean record,it is my first offence, can i get the traffic school what are my chances, how does it work in NY?
also i 'd like to know how to change hearing date, and what if they keap on changing the dates as i travel alot and often out of the country.

Go to court, play dumb and you might get lucky. Other than that, nothing in your post suggests the tickets was not warranted.

You're going to lose in Traffic Violations Bureau unless you bring a traffic lawyer who does this sort of thing.
