Question about speeding ticket - Michigan

What is the name of your state? Michigan


I had gotten a speeding ticket (5 mph over) on September 7th, 2001

Now it has been 3 years since the ticket. How long does it take for the ticket to drop off my driving record?

Also - for anyone who knows - how long do insurance companies hold that against you for?

As far as the insurance goes, it varies from company to company. Generally, it's between 3-5 years from what I've seen.

As far as how long it will remain on your driving record, the simple solution would be to call the DMV and ask them. I suspect it's also between 3-5 years.
