What is the name of your state? TX.
Can I contest a ticket in state of tx for fair and speedy trial. I got a speeding ticket which on contesting I lost. I am recontesting the ticket in count court at law but the court sent me the date for hearing almost after an year. Can I get the case dismissed in state of tx because the case was not heard in 45 days. In some states there is a law of fair and speedy trial but I want to know if it is in Tx also.

You had trial and lost. You are now appealing so you have no right to a "speedy" trial.

There is... and you already had it. The 'speedy trial' issue does not arise on an appeal that YOU bring.
