questions on vc 22107 and 22108

What is the name of your state?
California

Only my ticket, i got the vc 22107 and vc 22108, the officer circled the Misdemenor or infraction on the vc 22108, I just don't understand what the term Misdemeanor or infraction means

and how to calculate to know how much total I will be fined before I go to court. What is the name of your state?

Thank you very much for your information

What did they say when you called the number on the back of the ticket?

Infractions are violations where the penalty is a fine (both of your violations are infractions).

Misdemeanors are violations where the penalty can include jail time and a fine of at least $1000.

According to the Uniform California bail schedule, the two offenses should total approximately $146 each ... that's $292 total. However, that is no guarantee that your local court will be the same - but it should be close.

Yes, you can go to traffic school and dismiss the violations. That way your insurance doesn't go up.
