Race car driving

What is the name of your state?Tx If someone is pulled over for race car driving. How do they find someone guilty of it?? My bf was driving his car and was going 45 on a 35, yea speeding, at the same time he was talking to his friend who was right next to him. The cop pulled them over and took them in for racing. Which they clearly werent. And now they are trying to fight it, but they keep on having to go back to court and pay fines for something they werent even doing...

They go to court together, ask to speak to the DA, and explain they are friends and were trying to talk at that time ( possibly to make some sort of arrangements to meet later)

No reason to admit to speeding unless asked. If asked, plead ignorance, such as " We were talking and being careful not to cause an accident, and not watching the speedometer at that moment.)

sometime the truth works, sometime it doesn't.

Traffic court is one court that you are assumed guilty until you convince them you aren't.

If they can afford an attorney, and he/she can get it reduced to no points (equipment), they pay courts costs and fine but, it would be cheaper than the insurance increase, plus fines, and court cost.

The problem is, you are not helping. I'll let someone else read what you wrote and see what they think.

In fact, you are so astonishingly correct in this matter, it will not surprise us one bit if you are offered a generous settlement, because, by golly, that’s just how it should be.
