Range Of Lti Marksman Laser Gun

What is the name of your state? NY. I recieved a ticket for 84 in a 65 MPH
zone in heavy traffic at a distance of 1573 ft. What is the range of laser
model LTI/MARKSMAN?

Coincidentally enough, 1573.5 feet.

How fast were you actually going?

What is the range of a focused beam of light?

Range

I've gotten speeds at up to 1900-2000 feet from an LTI.

We still have a few that we use in GA.

Depending on the sources for LTI's other products, anywhere from 2,000' to 3,200'.

From what I found, they are accurate to within 1% up to 1000', 1-2% up to 2000', and 3% up to 3000'. Hmm, that is well within your range. And at your 1573 feet, the light spread is about 3 feet. That is accurate enough to pick one vehicle out of a group.
