I received my second traffic ticket in my life yesterday. It was for reckless driving in Washington and cited as RCW 46.61.500. I was angry and hurt following a family argument and was blowing off some steam. I have a mandatory court date on May 5. While I know I committed the infraction, it's not something I've ever done before, I have no criminal record and one speeding ticket when I was a senior in high school (I'm now 51). How do I plead?

I'd get a lawyer and see if he can get you deferred prosecution.
This is a reasonably serious charge, a gross misdemeanor which has the potential of jail time. You'll also lose your license for at least a month.
