Received speeding Ticket .....

What is the name of your state? Maryland....

I just received a speeding ticket in Maryland doing 81 in 55. This is my first speeding ticket in 15 years I live Pa and was wondering if the points transfer over from Maryland.. I didn't even realize I was going that fast because my brother-in-law and I were talking about our day crabbing and hoping to get them home before they died. I know I was completly wrong, and willing to pay fine, but hope to not have points against my license. Should I go to court and explain... Thats what is confusing me,, Ticket says if you don't pay, you will automatically be sent a court date, or you can send it in as a Guilty with explanation and get a court date... Which one is the better one for the court.. Thanks...

PA does not post minor out of state violations to your record. If you go to court they will normally reduce the fine in return for a guilty plea.
