reckless driving

What is the name of your state? md

while traveling on the chesapeake bay bridge tunnel in virginia, i was stopped by a police officer doing radar. when i noticed the cop, i looked at my speedometer and was going around 70. the officer told me that i was clocked going 84mph and i was given a ticket for reckless driving. in virginia, you have to appear in court for all traffic violations so i will have to go to court to receive my fine. there is no way that i was going 84 mph. how can i get this reduced when i go to court? will i receive points on my maryland liscence?
