Reckless in IN, now in CA

What is the name of your state? California

In May of 2005, I recieved a reckless driving in Indiana while I was licensed in Oklahoma. I am now a resident of California, but the car I am currently driving is registered in Oklahoma with my father's name on the title. I am planning on bringing the title and insurance to California in my own name. Is the reckless going to be on my California record now? Will the insurance companies find out if they pull my CA DMV record (and thus charge me a higher rate)? If I neglect to mention that I have the violation when I go to get my insurance, what could happen?

I should add that my rates in Oklahoma have never increased, even after this incident two years ago. I don't believe that Oklahoma ever got word that I have this on my record.

States don't add POINTS for out of state tickets. However, insurance companies will only order 1 report. Who knows if it will show up? I don't.

I decided to get a copy of my DMV record from the state of California (only $5) and it came back clean. No convictions, accidents, failure-to-appears. I suppose that now this question is more appropriate for the auto insurance forum, but what other report would insurance companies request?

That's it, as far as tickets are concerned. By the way, most states only report major convictions like DUI, vehicular homicide, etc. to the other state.
