I received a ticket two years ago for driving on suspended license. I never paid the ticket. My license has also now expired. I have now straightened out my life and have a good job, etc.

What do I need to do to have my license reinstated? I know I will have to appear in court, pay the excessive fines, etc. But, can they put me in jail? I want to do the right thing here to straighten everything out and all, but, I also have to keep my job and stay out of jail. Also, who should I call to get this process started? Thanks alot! I really appreciate it!

First of all,DON'T LISTEN TO PETER.He is just an IDIOT and SMARTASS.YOU DIDN'T SAY WHAT YOUR LICENSE WAS SUSPENDED FOR.IF IT WAS FOR DUI,YOU ARE PROBABLY LOOKING AT SOME KIND OF REHAB.DEPENDING ON HOW MANY YOU HAVE HAD.THERE ARE LINKS FROM THIS SITE SHOWING WHAT EACH STATE REQUIRES FOR RE-INSTATEMENT.DON'T TRY TO BS THEM WHEN YOU TRY TO GET A LICENSE.THEY WILL CHECK YOUR RECORD NATIONWIDE.YOU PROBABLY NEED TO TALK TO AN ATTORNEY.FIRST CONSULTATION IS FREE.HOPE THIS HELPS
