I was on the right lane driving on 81 south near Roanoke, signaled to go to the right to pass a truck and I noticed a car in the right lane 4 cars behind with no one in front. As I moved to the left lane , the driver in the left lane sped up very fast almost rear ending me. I got over to the right lane once I passed the truck. She was o her cell phone and giving me the finger. I sped up to get down her licnese plate , however she was doing 85 on 70 and I di not want to danger my Wife and toddler in the back seat. I did call 911 and informed them about the vehicle type and driver. 1 week ago I got a call from a Roanoke state trooper saying chargs were being filed against me for Road Rage. However the only Witness to this was the lady in the other car, Me and my wife. Basically it's her word against mine and my wife's? Should I sign the warrant paper even though I did not do anything at all or should I press charges against her?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
