Question

should you move your car after an accident?

What is the name of your state? nevada

lets say you are hit by someone and it's their fault. should you keep your car there in traffic and not move it when you get into any kind of car accident? will it be more hard to proove who's fault it is if you pull over to the side or to a parking lot? even if you aren't hurt but your car is damaged.

thanks

You should NOT move your vehicle to the side of the road UNLESS it is a MINOR accident...

Otherwise it is HARD to prove who hit who, what direction they came from, how fast they were going and what exact damage was caused...

I would strongly recommend carrying a dispensable camera in your car at all times for just an occasion in case the other driver tries or does move their car from the exact scene or tries to deny anything...

Even if the other person moves their car, you should keep yours there until you get the ok from the police to move it...

It isn't that hard to tell what happened in an accident. If the vehicles are drivable and there aren't any SERIOUS injuries, the vehilces should be moved to the side of the road. In Georgia, it's required by law.
