I was recently given SIS probation for an excessive speeding violation which meant that the sentence for the ticket was suspended as long as I did not violate the terms of my probation. Then, while driving home in a fog of the flu the other night, I wasn't paying attention to the speedometer and got pulled over and ticketed for speeding again. Can anyone tell me what to expect now? Huge fines, loss of liscence? I've been wracking my brain and worrying quite a bit. Obviously, I was the one who was speeding so I can't expect to get off but does anyone have any advice as to how to best handle the situation?

I assume this is Missouri?

The judge will impose whatever sentence was due to the original charge (likely a fine or points depending on the circumstance). You'll obviously also have to pay for the new speeding violation.

There's a shift in class of crime for over 20 miles per hour over. You can technically get jail time.
