Speeding - Clayton County - GA

What is the name of your state? GA (Clayton County)

So I was late to work this morning. I was stupid and impatient. I was trapped doing 88 in a 55 (I-75). To add to this, the cop also gave me a ticket because I didn't signal when I moved over from the far right lane to the shoulder.

I know I did wrong, but I was wondering what the consequences are (Just fines? Loose my license). The cop told me that in the state of GA if I do over 31 over the limit, I should go to jail but he would write me a ticket this time. He stated that I HAD to appear in court.

What happens now, this is my first offense and I am clueless
