My fiance received a ticket for traveling at 76 mph in a 50 mph zone. The ticket has not yet been processed, but an attendant at the county court said that the fee will likely be over $100 dollars, license suspended and she will incur a reinstatement fee of over $200.
This is her first offense. She is a college student and we live in separate towns. She will not be able to drive to school on a daily basis. We also absolutely can not afford fees this high. The court date is mid April. What is her best argument to avoid suspension and get the payment lowered?
Thank you very much.
