Speeding ticket ?

What is the name of your state? Colorado

Can you get a speeding from a sheriff (not state patrol) if he is in a different county than were he is from. I was on Weld County Rd, he is from Boulder County and gave me a ticket while in Weld county. Can this be done, or is he trying to pull a fast one.

My question to you, why would the officer waste his time giving you a ticket if it could easily be dismissed because of lack of jurisdiction? You will likely find that the police agencies have an agreement that allows for cross jurisdictional patrols. It wouldn't hurt to talk to a local attorney to confirm this.
