What is the name of your state? Arizona

I received a ticket for speeding on a residential road. The violation code on my ticket is written as ARS 28-701 A. I looked up how that statue reads and it pertains to highway speed. Could I possibly get out of my ticket by claiming the cop wrote the wrote code on my ticket? There is an ARS 28-701B that further explains speed limits in residential areas.

Also, there was not a posted speed limit sign on the stretch of road where he caught me. Is that a possible defense as well?

Any suggestions appreciated.

If nothing is posted, then there is a maximum speed...look that up.
Also, check the definition of "Highway"

Zig's implications are correct.
Just about every public road is a highway.
The implicit speed limit in a residential area is 25 MPH. It says that right in section 701.
