What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ga
Recently, in Rome Ga, the police dept failed to certify the speed radar devices. Each year they are required to do so...however, they realized this mistake and released each offender from the responsibility of paying speeding tickets. Those who received tickets from Jan 1 thru Jan 20...My question is this: If a person had no insurance and got his car towed, due to this speeding violation, is it required that the city pay back the tow payment due to their mistake of uncertified radar devices. Remember, they recognized their mistake and released all speeders from paying fines.
