Speeding ticket! Help!I am from Massachusetts and I recently was pulled over for speeding. I am on my JOL so the penalties are absurd in mass for kids under 18. The info on the ticket says I was going only 10 mph over (45 in a 35) though in reality the cop kind of cut me a brake. What I was wondering is what the laws are for how long the cop must clock me for. My ticket was written as 90/17, speed limit posted, radar, and estimated. Did he need to clock me for a certain distance? If so, I believe I was in an area where the quarter mile would apply (pretty major road, undivided, not thickly settled or business.) I can't afford the 2000+ that will come with this ticket, and am wondering if anyone has any advice on what I should do to try to fight it. |

| Go to this site There is a guy there who know Mass laws and has won and help many people win tickets in Mass. Mass has some unique laws and rules that if you know what to do you can prevail. He also recently help someone in same situation as you and allowed them to not lose their license.
