Since you were driving in a rain storm, you have the law on your side on this one. Tell the judge you weren't given your due process and you would like a retrial. Ask for a change of venue and then tell him you are going to plead insanity. Pleading insanity will most likely get this trivial case thrown out, as most courts don't have the money to fight an insanity plea especially with all the doctor fees involved.
