What is the name of your state?what is the name of your state?
[Virginia, but have been ticketed in Georgia]

Hello there, I have a question. I have been ticketed for doing 90/70 mph in Treutlen county, Georgia, on I-16. Have a court date some time in May,05.

My question is I am from Virginia. As per Georgia law its 125bucks fine and 3 points. My question is if Georgia reports it to VA DMV I will be still with this 3 points and not 6points,[In va, it is what you get if you are ticketed at doing 90 mph which is automatic reckless with possibility of putting in a Jail]

I am not sure how it goes about...well, plain and simple common sense says that it would still be 3 points as I voilated Ga law not Va law. But after reading some body else comments I am posting this question.

Thanks,
jAY
