speeding ticket misprint


What is the name of your state?got the ticket in new jersey but live in pennsylvania

i got a speeding ticket in new jersey and on the summons the new jersey state trooper gave me, he mis-spelled my last name, is there a way i can get it thrown out of court?

Not for that, no. If the rest of the information is corretc they will have your correct name and all included on your driver's license printout when it is submitted to the court.

Clerical errors do not generally - by themselves - invalidate a ticket or give grounds for a dismissal.

PA does not enter out of state minor speeding violations on your record.

It means that your Pennsylvania driving record will not show the ticket from NJ. However, if you fail to take care of it (or as a result of the citation, NJ issues a license suspension) PA will honor the suspension.
