What is the name of your state? NJ

heres a quick run down. my wife got pulled over today by a state trooper for speeding doing 86 in a 55. early morning traffic. her first moving violation ever, shes 26. of course she says he snagged the wrong but but anyways just lookin over the ticket he issued it to be a 80 in a 55 and also tossed her a ticket for tint. as i checked closer he filled out the part were her Driver lic. expired dates wrong. he wrote down the date of when the registration expires instead. he put 9/2005 instead of the right date of 2/2008. the tint ticket looks 2 be correct but he filled out the speeding ticket with a wrong date. Does this mean this ticket could be tossed? just wondering. I know this is a 4pt. ticket. shes plannin on talkin with a lawyer, is it even worth it?? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Minor errors won't make a difference.

25 over can be pretty significant in some states. Check to see what kind of insurance increase you are facing if she's convicted of 25 over and then the cost increase (if any) if a lawyer can plea it down to a lower level. Could be a simple financial decision.

It sounds like the policeman was being pretty lenient in writing down 80 instead of 86. The errors won't make any difference, since they don't change the fact that the crime was committed. She should take her punishment like a big girl and pay the ticket.
