Speeding Ticket From UK

What is the name of your state? Florida

I have just received a notice of intended prosecution from a UK police force for speeding whilst i was in the UK. Asking me to prove i was in the UK. my drivers no. and insurance details. Do i have to answer this notice and if i dont what further action could they take?

If you plan on ever returning to the UK, it would be wise to follow-up.
