Got caught allegedly going 91 in a 65 going down a texas highway at night.
At the time I was passing another car and absolutely going faster than the posted speed limit. Yet, claiming that I was going 91 is excessive; was 85 at the most.
In Texas if you get caught going 25+ mph over the limit you're unable to take the online drivers safety course to dismiss it. Would fighting the case and pleading to the court to allow me to take the safety course be possible? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

How do you know how fast you were going? Maybe your speedometer is not accurate, or at least not as accurate as a calibrated radar or lidar set is.
