What is the name of your state? FL

I got a speeding ticket in Georgia about a year and a half ago, I had paid for the ticket, but I forgot about the points for the ticket. when I went to get insurance this year in miami, fl. I had to pay more money because this violations shows up on my license with the points. I was wondering is there any way I can take those points of my license?

If there was a solution other than the passage of time, it would defeat the whole purpose of having the point system in the first place!

Some states will remove points if you go to traffic school.

we have a point system because our police departments are in kahoots with the insurance companies. once you get a ticket it usually stays on your record for anywhere from 3 to 5 years. this means when you get a ticket for speeding your insurance will skyrocket. when that happens the insurance company makes more money then buys the towns new radar guns which further increases the amount of tickets they give out. oh by the way .. insurance companies also have politicians and judges in their pockets to make laws that can't be beat

jimmy... I'm so glad you cleared that up for me. I had this sneaking suspicion that it was all a conspiracy, but the little voices told me not to pursue it... ;)
