Speedometer Wrong -- Judge won't dismiss...?

I received a traffic ticket on an interstate in Texas going 82 in a 65. I was shocked when the officer said he had paced me at 82, as I had my cruise control set on 69. The officer suggested maybe it the speedometer was off, but he still had to give me a ticket. I took my car in to the dealership, and yes, in fact, it was off by exactly as much as it appeared on that night. I sent a letter to the judge and a copy of the invoice from the dealership verifying the problem, and explained that I would never have intentionally been going that speed. I just got a letter from the court back saying that he wouldn't dismiss it. That just seems so unfair!!! What are my options at this point? I hope I have one!!
thanks so much for any help or advice you can give!!

A vehicle owner has a duty to keep the speedomoeter in working order.

Also, unintentionally speeding is not a defense to speeding.

Doesn't sound good for you. Sorry.
