Speedy Trial for Speeding Ticket

What is the name of your state? Oregon

How can I find out what is considered the amount of time for a speedy trial for a traffic ticket in Oregon? The Ticket was for Speeding, caught by laser. I plead 'not guilty' on April 1st and trial has been set for July 10th.
Also, how do I supeana (sp?) documents from the officers?

Unless I'm wrong, and I very well could be, speedy trials are mostly for criminal cases where someone's liberty is being denied. Waiting a few months to settle a speeding ticket isn't really infringing on your liberty. It's probably the first time they could get you in, anyway. Too many people with heavy gas pedals out there.
