Speeing Ticket - What to do?

What is the name of your state? CA

I recently went to court for supposedly traveling 85 in a 65 and the judge gave me the option of pleading guilty and recieve $341 fine, 30 day driving restriction (driving to school and work only), and not be able to take traffic school due to the 30 day driving restriction or not guilty. Which i pleaded not guilty because I'm positive i was traveling at 80mph. I'm 22 turning 23 in three months and have a clean record. If i was traveling less then 20mph over the speed limit i would be able to take traffic school and my insurance will not be affected. But I was just informed that if you have a California speeding ticket you lose your option to take traffic school once you plead not guilty and request a trial.
Also I was told that the judge is not going to reduce it for you. However I heard that you talk to get the prosecuter to reduce the ticket and allow traffic school. Is that true? What should i do
Thanks!!

My response:

Well, at least we know what this 22 year old does at 85 miles per hour - - with his boyfriend in the passenger seat
