Question

Statute of Limitations on Traffic Tickets

What is the name of your state? Texas
I have 2 tickets from 1995 & one from 1998. Is there a statute of limitations on traffic tickets. The 2 from 95 are for speeding and one is with no liability insurance also. The one from 98 is for altered inspection sticker, and no liabilty insurance. All three are now warrants for failure to appear.

The tickets AND the warrants NEVER expire.

so start looking over your shoulder. You're a criminal.

I imagine that your driver's license has also been suspended. If you are stopped you can expect a trip to the local jail.

If you have a speeding ticket that you didn't pay, then you pay it years later, do you still have a warrant in that state?

before you get an answer to your question you need to post your own thread. What you just did is called hijacking and it results in no answers to you simply because it causes confusion to the original poster.
