I was pulled over in Illinois July 31st for my license being suspended. I didn't know why and ended up getting arrested. I later contacted Springfield to find out it was suspended for my insurance lapsing. I got a violation on January 4,2011 for expired insurance. I didn't know my insurance had lapsed. It turns out once you have a violation for no insurance you need to show proof of insurance even if you don't have a car.

My question is " If I reinstated my insurance, which I did, Will my license be reinstated? Should I get a lawyer or will I be good with proof of insurance since this was my second time in a year?

Thanks
Bill
