What is the maximum penalty for driving with a suspended license?

Also, I haven't been charged yet, but I didn't have insurance. I'm sure they're going to find out because the person who was injured was an off-duty police officer.... What type of penalties can I face here for driving without insurance? Do you think the police will re-arrest me and book me into jail again?

Please tell me what they are? Can I face any jail time or will it just be some fines, etc....do you think I should hire a lawyer...what good would it do me if I did, since I'm obviously guilty?
