Suspended Privileges In Virginia

I'm Maryland resident who recieved a ticket in Virginia and had my driving privileges suspended. I thought I had paid the fines but only paid to have it reinstated, I was pulled over in VA for having a tail light out and found out that my driving privileges were still suspended. I recieved a ticket to appear in court but was unable to make it and ask was there any other why to resolve the ticket. I was told to faxs over letter stating what happen, copy of my ticket and proof showing fines have been paid. I paid all fines before the court date and judge found me guilty and fined me $150 plus court cost and 90 additional days lost driving privileges in Virginia. I would like to know should appeal the fines and go to court or just pay the fines and be done with it?

You cannot appeal a guilty plea.
