What is the name of your state? arizona

pulled over 10/02 . showed proof of insurance,registration.ect..
officer pulled my tags and told me my insurance card was fake
they had ways to tell. and ticketed me. displaying tags -w- no
finace responsability. and no proof of iinsurance. i told him he
was mistaken, that every thing was in order.he then told me i had
to take it up with dmv, signing wasn't admission of guilt.
i went directly home called the chief of police, which of course i was informed that i could not speak with him. following day i went
to dmv, explained to them the case, they in turn said i needed
this, that and the other which i did in deed have and got a new
plate and tag for $5.00. i went to court and the judge told me that
i was to return with a dmv vehicle suspension release before she'd drop the fine. (now all this time i was legal all the way)
back to dmv for this release form, explain it all again, only to have
them tell me that there's no such record of any suspensions or
any thing else , and that there was nothing they could do to help
back to court i am and with out any kind of proof or explaination
i was given a reduced fine of $188.00. all this time i was legal!!!
i am very upset over this !! i'm pay out money i can't afford for
thier mess up. ( i think i'm probably not the only one) but none the
less, thats not my idea of justice, and it's way wrong! how can
they get away with this?? is their any recourse i can take?

thank you for your time i'm sure you have more important things
to do.
