Texas: Defensive Driving Question

What is the name of your state? Texas
City of Austin

background: Last year (2004) august, I got a ticket. Judge gave deffered judgement (I paid full fine amount). In deferred judgement agrrement it was written :

paid amt fulll
no violatons in next 6 months
defense driving course

I took defnseive drving class in Feb 2005 end and sumitted it to the court in March firstweek. This ticket was not mentioned in my record.

Now this year a week back i got a ticket (speeing 55 in 45). I got a certified copy of my record and it does not show me taking defensive driving class anytime. Its a clean record. No mentioning of me taking defnsive driving class ever.

Question: Am I allowed to take defensive driving class for dismissal of present(lastest) ticket? Can I say to court that I have not taken defensive driving class in last one year as nothing shows on my record.

You possibly will be allowed to take the class again.

You absolutely should not lie in court.

Deferred Adjudication In Texas

(1) upon conviction of a subsequent offense, the fact that the defendant had previously received community supervision with a deferred adjudication of guilt shall be admissible before the court or jury to be considered on the issue of penalty;

If the court allows it.

Of course you can say it.... as long as you are willing to accept the consequences of lying to the court if caught.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
