What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? indiana my husband got 2 tickets in kansas in 1987 when he was a colorado resident. He went to the indiana bmv to get his licenses renewed and they informed him that he had a suspended license in colorado because of the tickets in kansas, which has been so long ago he dont remember if they were paid or not. he has had a valid indiana licenses for years now. my question... is there a statue of limitations on traffic tickets?

Welcome to the States Drivers License Compact. Started in 1994 as a way for states to report driving infractions from out of state motorists. As with anything involving all 50 states, it takes time for all the information to be gathered. Apparently the state of Kansas has supplied the required info and your husband has been found.

The answer to your question is no. Your husband will have to clear up the Kansas infractions before he can get an Indiana license again. Good luck.
