ON A BUSY FRIDAY MORNING ON AN INTERSTATE I WAS PULLED OVER AND CITED FOR SPEEDING
I WAS ALSO GIVEN A WARNING ( WRITTEN ON TICKET) FOR EXPIRED LICENSE PLATES . AT THE TIME I WAS DRIVING A DEALERS VEHICLE DUE TO THE FACT THAT MINE WAS BEING REPAIRED THE PLATES ON THE DEALERS VEHICLE WERE NOT EXPIRED AT ALL BUT GOOD UNTIL FEBUARY OF 2001 I BELIEVE THE OFFICER MADE A MISTAKE AS TO THE CAR HE NOTICED ON HIS RADAR AND DUE TO THE FACT THAT I CAN PROVE HE MADE ONE MISTAKE ( THE EXPIRED PLATE ) I BELIEVE THAT I CAN WIN THIS IN COURT , AGREE OR DISAGREE?

I am a law school graduate. What I offer is mere information, not to be construed as forming an attorney client relationship.

Agree. Fight it in court, because chances are if he warned you for expired plates when in fact yours were not, he probably mistook your car for the one tagged on the radar.

Did you get a calibration record?

Make sure you get all the correct paperwork for this.

I PLAN TO USE MY DIGITAL CAMERA TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THE PLATE , ALSO I WILL TAKE A PICTURE OF THE TRAFFIC FLOW IN THAT PARTICULAR LOCATION AT THE SAME TIME OF DAY THAT I GOT THE TICKET ON RANDOM DAYS BEFORE THE COURT DATE , ALONG WITH A LETTER FROM THE DEALERSHIP AND /OR THE SEC. OF STATE STATING THE EXACT EXPIRATION DATE AS WELL AS THE DATE IT WAS REGISTERED . I BELIEVE THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH , I WOULD FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT ANY JUDGE COULD UPHOLD A TICKET THAT IS AT LEAST HALF WRONG AND CAN BE PROVEN
